
Policies and Guidelines
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Prepping for your appointment will play a key role in how your results turn out! Below are some guidelines to follow prior to your scheduled appointment(s).
Pre-Appointment Guide for Lash Clients:
- Please arrive with clean, make-up free and uncurled lashes
- Lash Extension Clients who arrive to their fill appointments with makeup build-up (mascara, eyeliner) will be charged a $10 cleaning fee** If you have any makeup on, please arrive earlier than your appointment to cleanse your face. Makeup remover and face wash is provided in our bathroom.
- Avoid caffeinated drinks prior to your lash appointment as this causes the eyes to flutter = poor retention.
- Please remove contact lenses prior to your lash appointment. Please bring your own contact lens case and solution.
- We kindly ask to please avoid movement & chatter during your lash appointment as this will add on time and can cause allergic reaction due to the eyes fluttering. **more than happy to chat before and at the end of our appointmentPre-Appointment Guidelines for Brow Clients:
- Please do not trim/ tweeze/ tint the brow hairs for at least 3-4 weeks prior to your appointment to ensure the optimal results.
- Shower and/or Gym ahead of time as you cannot get the brows wet for 24-hour post- service.
- Arrive with clean, makeup free brows (including brow makeup, foundation, concealer)
- Avoid the use of any Retinol Products on your face for at least 2 weeks prior to your service (otherwise we will not be able to wax)
- Clients on Accutane will require at least 12 months post Accutane Treatment before waxing can be done.Pre-Appointment Prep for Facial Clients:
- Please arrive with makeup free skin.
- Discontinue the use of manual or chemical exfoliation 5 days prior to service.
- Avoid Direct Sun exposure for 3-5 days prior to service.
- Do not schedule Facial Botox/Fillers for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Avoid any facial waxing for a week prior/after treatment.
- Wait at least 12 months post Accutane Treatment before booking an exfoliative facial treatment.Pre-Appointment Prep for Eyebrow PMU Clients:
- Avoid caffeinated drinks prior to your appointment.
- No alcohol at least 24 hours before procedure.
- Avoid tanning 1 week prior to appointment.
- Avoid the use of any Retinol Products on your brow area for at least 1 month prior to your service.
- Do not schedule Facial Botox/Fillers for 1 month prior to your appointment.
- **Touch ups for all permanent makeup services are not complementary and will require an additional appointment and paymentPre-Appointment Prep for Lip Blush PMU Clients:
- Avoid caffeinated drinks prior to your appointment.
- No alcohol at least 24 hours before procedure.
- Maintain good hydration by drinking plenty of water in days leading up to your appointment.
- Gently exfoliate your lips a day or two before the procedure to remove any dead skin. Moisturize your lips daily in the days leading up to the appointment.
- Do not schedule Facial Botox/Fillers for 1 month prior to your appointment.
- **Touch ups for all permanent makeup services are not complementary and will require an additional appointment and paymentCANCELLATION POLICY
If you are going to be running late, please call or email to let us know. There will be a 15 minute grace period given. However, anything over this time frame and the appointment will unfortunately need to be cancelled and a cancellation fee will be charged.
Cancellations/Reschedules can be made no less than 24 hrs prior to your original appointment (Cancelling within 24hrs will result in 40% service fee.)
No shows will NOT be tolerated. (Service Amount will need to be paid in full, and the client will no longer be able to book for future appointments.)
TRAINING AND EDUCATION POLICY
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your training spot. Deposit must be paid at the time of booking. Training dates can be deferred once with a 14-day notice. The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks before scheduled training date. If full payment is not received by agreed deadline, student will lose seat and deposit. Payment plans are available. Please inquire for more information. Certificates are issued upon completion of both theory and model application. All training materials are proprietary and maya not be duplicated or redistributed.
GIFT CARD POLICY
All gift cards must be used before expiry date. Gift cards are non-refundable but transferrable. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
The Lash Lounge reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate behaviour, intoxication, or contraindicated conditions.
