Meet Maja, the proud owner of The Lash Lounge. With a sharp eye for detail, Maja specializes in creating customized lash extensions that enhance her clients' natural beauty. She strives to make every client’s experience comfortable, relaxing, and memorable, leaving them feeling pampered and confident.

In addition to running The Lash Lounge, Maja also owns a photography studio, blending her artistic vision with her beauty expertise. As a part-time infusion nurse, she combines her nurturing side with her medical expertise to care for patients. Outside of work, Maja enjoys reading books, watching crime shows, spending time outdoors, practicing Pilates, and enjoying quality moments with her family, friends, and puppy.

LASH & BROW ARTIST, SKIN SPECIALIST

Meet Kate, a passionate beauty professional who began her journey in the industry as a lash extension specialist in 2020. Since then, she has expanded her expertise to include skincare and permanent makeup, always striving to deliver personalized, high-quality results for her clients.

Kate’s love for music is as diverse as her skill set—she enjoys listening to jazz, hip hop, and lofi, and you’ll often hear her favorite tunes on repeat at the studio. And if you’re ever curious, her greatest fear? A well-done steak!

LASH & BROW ARTIST

Meet Valerie, a seasoned beauty professional with nearly a decade of experience in the industry. Since 2016, she has been perfecting her craft, building her skills from the ground up and mastering the art of lashes and brows. Valerie is known for her precision, passion, and the magic she works with her tweezers to create stunning, natural results.

Her true specialty? Brows! From permanent makeup to shaping and lamination, Valerie loves helping clients achieve effortlessly beautiful brows that complement their natural features.

Outside the studio, Valerie finds joy in baking bread, cooking Asian cuisine, and spending time outdoors with her family. She lived in China for seven years—and no, she does not speak Chinese!

JUNIOR LASH STYLIST, TEETH WHITENING SPECIALIST

Meet Julie, our in-house Teeth Whitening Specialist and Junior Lash Artist at The Lash Lounge! With a background as a Registered Dental Assistant and three years of experience in the dental field, Julie brings a wealth of knowledge and precision to every smile transformation. For the past two years, she's been perfecting the art of teeth whitening—and her results speak for themselves. Bright, radiant, confidence-boosting smiles are her specialty!

Julie is also excited to be growing her skills as our Junior Lash Artist. She loves helping clients enhance their natural beauty and is passionate about continuing to learn and refine her craft while creating beautiful, confidence-boosting lash sets.

Outside the studio, you can usually find her breaking a sweat at the gym, flowing through a hot yoga class, or playing a round of tennis. She's also a big foodie and loves discovering new restaurants and enjoying a delicious meal with friends.

LASH STYLIST, TEETH WHITENING SPECIALIST

Meet Serena, a skilled beauty professional with years of experience in the industry since 2016. Specializing in eyelash extensions and lash lifts, Serena’s lash style is known for its natural, refined elegance. She believes that lashes should enhance each client’s natural beauty, though she’s more than capable of creating full, dense volume sets when desired.

Outside of the studio, Serena loves exploring new restaurants, spending quality time with her dogs and daughter, binge-watching psychological thrillers and horrors, and enjoying the great outdoors.

SKIN CARE SPECIALIST, LASH & BROW ARTIST

Meet Yana, a highly experienced beauty professional with over a decade in the industry. Known for her refined, results-driven approach, Yana specializes in treatments that enhance natural beauty while delivering real, lasting skin transformations. Her passion lies in helping clients feel confident in their own skin—and her favorite moment is when a client looks in the mirror and smiles with confidence.

Outside of the studio, Yana enjoys spending quality time with her family and relaxing with a good book in the sun.

Meet Rhiannon, a talented lash artist with nearly two years of experience and a passion for helping clients feel confident and beautiful. Known for her attention to detail and welcoming personality, Rhiannon loves creating customized lash sets that enhance each client's natural beauty. With experience in brows as well, she's excited to be bringing brow services back to her clients soon.

Outside the studio, Rhiannon enjoys baking sweet treats, spending time with friends and family, soaking up sunny days at the beach, and relaxing with a good comedy movie.

LASH & BROW ARTIST, SKIN APPRENTICE

Meet Kaylee, a passionate beauty professional with nearly five years of experience as a lash artist and two years specializing in brows. She is currently apprenticing in skin care, facials, and waxing as she continues to grow her skills as a well-rounded esthetician.

Kaylee thrives in the beauty industry and loves helping clients feel confident by enhancing their natural beauty. Her dream is to help people look and feel their best through the thoughtful details that esthetic services can provide.

Outside the studio, Kaylee enjoys doing nails, baking, colouring, working out, and dancing. If there's one thing everyone knows about her, it's that she absolutely loves the colour pink!

Meet Fer, a talented beauty professional with over 10 years of experience in the industry. As a professional makeup artist, she has spent the past decade helping clients look and feel their best, and is now expanding her expertise as a certified lash and brow artist.

Outside the studio, Fer offers additional beauty services including makeup, tooth gems, piercings, and sparkly hair tinsel extensions. She is also the owner of Belleza Bunny Charm Bar, a pop-up jewelry experience that combines her love of creativity and fashion.

When she's not at The Lash Lounge, Fer enjoys creating social media content, crafting, spending time with friends, attending local markets and pop-up events, exploring Manitoba, and going to live music shows.
